planning and research

From 30 drawings with different materials, I enjoyed many of them. So, I choose one of the technique I like to develop into the series of work. I choose the one that made out of Nitto tape. When saw the outcome, its texture makes me think of the bone

I scope down to the smallest bones in my body which are bones in our ears, Malleus, Incus, and Stapes. I came up with an idea of making these smallest bones from Nitto tape but in the bigger size.

Malleus, Incus, and Stapes

The ossicles (also called auditory ossicles) are three bones in middle ear. The word ossicle means tiny bone which can be any bone in human body, but it usually refer to these Malleus, Incus, and Stapes

Meaning in Latin which relate to its shape

Malleus- Hammer

Incus- Anvil (connect in between both two)

Stapes- Stirrup
